GAME RECAP: Raiders dominate Cardinals, win 33-26

The second game of the preseason couldn’t have gone better for the Oakland Raiders as the first-team offense walked the ball down the field. Quarterback Derek Carr completed a short pass for Ryan Grant, who took it in for the score.

On defense, the Raiders pressured Kyler Murray all game long and held him to just 15 total yards. They also recorded a safety and continually backed the Cardinals up inside their own territory.

Overall, it was a dominating performance by both sides of the ball for Oakland. The Raiders appear to be on the right track, improving each week. So with positive thoughts coming from the Raiders, let’s hand out some awards, shall we?

Play of the Game: Tyrell Williams’ catch

Player of the Game: QB Mike Glennon

After a rough Week 1 outing, Mike Glennon bounced back in a massive way for the Raiders. Glennon completed 11 of 14 passes for 175 yards and two touchdowns. He could have had an even better game if he didn’t miss Darren Waller in the back of the end zone. But nevertheless, it was an A+ performance by the backup quarterback.
