Game of Thrones star to golf legend: Who is in the Royal Box at Wimbledon today?

A fresh crop of A-listers have packed the Royal Box at Wimbledon for the third day of action in SW19.

The likes of David Beckham, Mary Berry and The Celebrity Traitors icon Celia Imrie were spotted enjoying the tennis earlier this week.

For day three, the likes of Charles Dance and Richard E Grant are among those in the Royal Box – while another of the Beckham clan is over in the (still lavish) VIP area.

Located in a prime viewing spot, the exclusive Royal Box has been used to welcome friends and guests of Wimbledon since 1922. Those lucky enough to have bagged an invite today (Wednesday 1 July) are enjoying a blockbuster line-up of second round matches.

Men’s world number one Janick Sinner is kicking things off in a second round match against Portugal’s Nuno Borges.

Barbora Krejcikova, from the Czech Republic, then faces women’s fifth seed Mirra Andreeva before Greece’s Stefanos Tsitsipas hopes to cause an upset against seven-time champion Novak Djokovic.

Here are all the celebrities who have been spotted in the Royal Box today (1 July)…

Game of Thrones star Charles Dance made his way into the exclusive area ahead of Sinner’s match. The 79-year-old actor, who received an OBE for services to drama in 2006, was accompanied by his wife, Anna.

Rory McIlroy, winner of the BBC Sports Personality of the Year 2025, was given a heroes’ welcome as he arrived.

The Northern Irish golfer attended alongside a number of other Team Europe stars as they enjoyed a day out (very belatedly) celebrating their Ryder Cup win.

Romeo Beckham

He hasn’t quite the cut for the Royal Box yet, but Romeo Beckham was spotted elsewhere in the stands at Centre Court.

Romeo’s day out in south west London comes after his estranged brother Brooklyn made a tongue-in-cheek jibe at their dad David in a World Cup-themed advert.
