Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner warns finale will 'upset a lot of fans'

The final episode of Game of Thrones is finally upon us - and fans are eager to know how the epic show will come to an end.

With devoted viewers already angry about how the final season is panning out, actress Sophie Turner’s most recent comments haven’t really helped the situation.

The 23-year-old, who plays Sansa Stark, has admitted that the show’s final ever episode is set to upset fans worldwide.

Speaking the Sunday Times Magazine, Sophie let it slip that Sansa was in for a “satisfying” ending from the star’s perspective but claimed it would potentially cause some upset with viewers.

HBO has reportedly spent more than $90million on season 8, which comprises just six episodes.

Game of Thrones first hit our screens eight years ago, with the first ever episode drawing in more than 17.4million viewers.

This figure is set to be eclipsed tonight as the battle for the future of Westeros finally draws to a close.
