One of the better developments to come out of Alex Morgan’s tea-sipping celebration after scoring in the USWNT World Cup semifinal victory over England is the fact that she revealed it was a tribute to Sophie Turner, the Game of Thrones actress.
Her “… and that’s the tea” is Turner’s catchphrase on Instagram. Maybe we all should have known that when Morgan signed off a post-win tweet with “and that’s the tea”?
Turner is currently on her honeymoon with musician Joe Jonas, but she took a minute on Instagram to respond to Morgan’s homage. Want to guess how she ended it?
