Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner's hotel slippers cost over £1,300

While Sophie Turner was turning heads with the flirty Louis Vuitton frock that she wore to last night’s Game of Thrones premiere, one of her more laidback outfit choices has caught our attention. Yesterday, following a day of press appearances, the Dark Phoenix actress left the glamorous dresses hanging in the closet, choosing instead to take on New York in a far more comfortable ensemble. Dressed in a green hooded sweatshirt and adidas track pants, the star could have been mistaken for anyone lounging in their sweats at home - that is, until you hone in on her £1.3k home slippers.

Turner’s slippers quickly drew attention as the furry loafers boast Louis Vuitton’s iconic monogram in bright pink. According to Louis Vuitton’s official website, the slippers are crafted from “luxurious mink fur” and also feature a sheared mink lining, which adds to their £1,360 price tag.

The shoes are officially called the Dreamy Flat Loafer and are also available in black or tan.

Given that Sophie Turner is an ambassador for Louis Vuitton, it’s no surprise that she’s been wearing the brand’s pieces a lot recently. However, her latest loungewear move comes fresh on the heels of the reigning hotel slipper king Justin Bieber, whose obsession with hotel slippers - luxe or otherwise - knows no bounds.

Bieber is frequently photographed out and about wearing hotel slippers and the discerning loungewear icon similarly turned to Louis Vuitton for an ultra luxe pair recently: the £1,030 LV Suite Flat Mule. As with Turner’s version, the slippers are also made from mink and feature the brand’s recognisable monogram - however, they're currently sold out on the brand’s UK website.

Turner is set to return to the screen in the upcoming season of Game of Thrones, which will draw an undoubtedly gory conclusion to the HBO series. The final season will be released on April 14 and can be watched in the UK on Sky Atlantic and NOW TV.
