Game of Thrones star Maisie Williams pulled off an amazing April Fools’ prank

The start of the final season of Game of Thrones is just a few days away, and if you’re not willing to entertain the mere thought of major spoilers, you should probably stop reading this article immediately. Instead, go check out the new Avengers trailer, or read about the downfall of the Alliance of American Football.

Series star Maisie Williams, who plays Arya Stark, dropped by The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon and accidentally gave away a colossal spoiler.

Williams quickly realized what she just said and froze, and the audience was shocked. A shaken Williams asked Fallon to edit the clip out of the show when it aired that night. If you had no idea what day it was, it’d be very easy to believe this was arguably one of the biggest late-night blunders of all time.

Excellent April Fools’ day joke, Arya. Game of Thrones returns April 14th.
