His character wasn't a Stark in Game of Thrones, but James Cosmo will nevertheless be declaring "winter is coming" when he turns on Christmas lights in West Lothian.
The actor has been chosen to switch on the illuminations at Five Sisters Zoo during the opening night of their Christmas activities next month.
Cosmo, who also appeared in Braveheart and Trainspotting, will be meeting fans at the event.
The zoo will have a new night-time riverside walk this year, with recently-arrived snow leopards Nela and Aruna the star attractions.
There will also be an undercover heated bar, festive stalls and a chance to watch the animals being fed during the evenings.
The illuminations will be switched on at 5.30pm on Friday, November 15.
Five Sisters Zoo say: "We are delighted to announce that Game of Thrones, Braveheart and Trainspotting actor James Cosmo MBE will officially turn the Zoo Illuminations 2019 on.
"There will also be the opportunity for a limited number of people to meet and greet James, keep and eye on our website and social media accounts for updates about this. We are so excited to welcome James Cosmo along to the Zoo!"
