Game of Thrones star Iwan Rheon is set to star in a “real life video game” in which players can control his actual behaviour.

Screamfest 4: The Kraken’s Revenge will see Rheon be issued instructions by players using smartphones or computers.

The actor then responds to the instructions immediately via a live video link.

The game, which is described as “tense, frightening and chillingly dark”, was conceived by John Zurhellen, who worked on games including Grand Theft Auto IV, Manhunt 1 & 2 and Red Dead Redemption.

“I’m used to playing a character that did all the controlling but now the tables are turned,” said Rheon, who is known for playing the nefarious Ramsay Bolton in HBO’s hit fantasy series.

“I’ll be at the mercy of people controlling my every move online from anywhere in the country, sending me from room to room in a particularly creepy location while I’m hunted by a monster. I do wonder how many Kraken fans will send me to my doom and how many will save me!”

Rheon will be “playable” for two hours from 4pm to 6pm on 28 October, with fans able to book 10 minute sessions playing the interactive horror game.

The tickets to control Iwan Rhoen go on sale on Wednesday 21st October, with the event also being streamed live for those unable to get a ticket.

You can find out more information on the event’s website.
