Game of Thrones star Aidan Gillen to release charity single with Camille O'Sullivan for Focus Ireland

As the final season of Game of Thrones kicks off, the show's former supervillain Aidan Gillen is turning his attention to good deeds.

The Drumcondra-born star has teamed up with singer Camille O'Sullivan to release a cover of Roy Orbison's hit 'In Dreams'.

The single is available now on limited edition vinyl and download from  iTunes ahead of its official release on 19 April.

All proceeds from the track will go to homeless charity Focus Ireland.

The pair will perform the single live at the Rock Against Homelessness gig in The Olympia theatre on 23 April.

Laura Whitmore and Eoghan McDermott will MC the event, which also features performances from Finbar Furey, Deirdre O’Kane, Tommy Fleming, Duke Special, Natty Wailer, The Celtic Tenors, Jerry Fish and Pat McCabe.

The Wire and Peaky Blinders star Aidan said: “Everyone involved in the project feels strongly about wanting to help out."
