Game of Thrones star, 15, banned from watching hit show by mum and dad

She's become an unsung hero in hit show Game of Thrones in recent seasons.

From standing up for Jon Snow, to defeating a fearsome zombie ice giant as it crushed her to death, Lyanna Mormont has rightly been hailed "the littlest bad-ass" of the entire show.

But despite all that, 15-year-old actress Bella Ramsey admits she's been banned from watching most of the HBO series by her mum and dad.

She said: "“I’ll probably watch it all when I’m 18.

“Even the episodes I have seen, there have been some parts where Mum and Dad just stand in front of me to block me seeing anything too gruesome on screen.”

Game of Thrones Battle of Winterfell is over but who will come out on top now?

However she added: “I was allowed to see myself being killed last Sunday and I’ve watched a bit of season seven," as the Daily Star reports.

Bella said she was "thrilled" by last week's epic Battle of Winterfell, in which viewers could literally hear her bones being crunched as she plunged a dagger into a giant's eye before both falling dead to the ground.

She said: "I was pretty excited. I think it’s a great death. If you’re going to die on Game Of Thrones, at least die well.

“There have been so many deaths in the series, so I was happy to be given the ending I got. It was heroic, which I’m very grateful for.”

Bella revealed how she was hoisted up in a "massive claw machine" to simulate the eye-to-eye contact with the beast, before falling down onto a crash mat.

Although her parents will continue to censor her viewing, the actress is hoping that the character of one of her favourite co-stars – Maisie Williams – will ultimately claim the Iron Throne.

She said: “I think it would be cool if Arya did. She killed the Night King, so I think she deserves it.”
