Game of Thrones spoilers: Every character who could KILL Cersei Lannister

The Last War is building up to be every bit as spectacular as the Battle of Winterfell and Cersei Lannister has managed to make even more enemies.

After the undead were defeated at Winterfell, the armies were turned south to head for King's Landing and replacing Cersei on the Iron Throne.

While Tyrion Lannister had urged diplomacy and requested that Cersei stood down and make way for Daenerys, in a blood-less coup, the evil-minded Cersei had other ideas.

First Euron Greyjoy ambushed the sailing ships of the forces heading towards King's Landing and then he inflamed Daenerys by shooting down her dragon Rhaegal, with huge crossbows mounted to his ships.

In the carnage that followed, Missandei was captured and it was her cold-blooded execution that has added to the list of those that want to be the one that finishes Cersei, once and for all.

Here are the main protagonists and why they could be the one to land the final blow.

Greyworm

Until now, fighting the battle against Cersei was enough but the death of Missandei has meant that is has got personal for the Unsullied warrior.

Getting revenge for the execution of his beau has elevated Greyworm up the list and he could now be the one who does the deed.

Daenerys Targaryon

If Daenerys wants to sit on the Iron Throne, then bumping off Cersei is a priority. The killing of one of her dragons had raised her blood pressure levels and now Missandei death has finally finished any patience she had.

Burning the city with Cersei inside is becoming a reality.

Arya Stark

After defeating the Night King, Arya has a taste for taking down the leader of the opposition. She also has a kill list, which has Cersei written pretty near the top, probably in capitals.

Arya stated that she has no plans to return to Winterfell and the ruthless assasin could be heading for death or glory in King's Landing.

The Hound

The Hound is once again on the move and, once again, has Arya Stark for company, though this time he doesn't have to look out for her.

Fans of the show want The Hound to battle Cersei's bodyguard The Mountain, his brother, and if he comes t blows with his sibling and beats him, it just makes sense that he finishes the job by bringing down Cersei too.

Jaime Lannister

After a brief session under the sheets with Brienne of Tarth, he vowed to return to King's Landing as he always ends up at his sister's side.

To be fair, Cersei is carrying his baby but his return to the fold could be a double bluff and place him in the right place to bring peace to the seven kingdoms by finishing off Cersei.

Jon Snow

Jon has already orchestrated the defeat of the undead, though he needed Arya's hand to apply the finishing touches, and is heading south to join the party.

Despite mellowing, he still has his focus on taking the Throne for Daenerys. If Cersei stands in the way then he will have no hesitation in doing the deed.

Tyrion Lannister

Tyrion may be more of a drinker than a fighter but when push comes to shove, he could find himself with the choice of saving King's Landing or saving his sister Cersei.

Seeing that she has looked to bump him off before, there is no love lost and it could be the ultimate pay-off for one of Game of Thrones most popular characters.
