The battle for the Iron Throne is about to come to a bloody and charred conclusion.
Game of Thrones finishes its eight-season run with its final episode tonight, with fans eagerly anticipating how the HBO fantasy epic will bow out following the game-changing penultimate episode .
The previous episode, The Bells, saw Daenerys Targaryen unleash Fire and Blood on the capital city King's Landing and crush her enemy Cersei Lannister once and for all.
However, her bloodthirsty actions caused major shock and disillusionment for loyal followers Tyrion Lannister and Jon Snow, with others like Arya Stark barely managing to live through the carnage.

One user tweeted: "My prediction for tonight is that Tyrion kills Dany by poisoning her wine glass. After what he witnessed he can't in good conscience side with her again and let her rule. He wants Snow at the throne."
Another gave a few guesses:" Dany is pregnant with Jon’s baby - Or her dragon is pregnant - arys’ poison is used somehow - Tyrion doesn’t make it - King’s Landing/Iron Throne is abandoned - Jon goes back to the North and is reunited with Ghost."
