Game of Thrones' Iron Throne: This is who really deserved to rule Westeros

All loyal Game of Thrones viewers know that the best part of GoT (other than the prophecies, romance and violence, of course) is watching the tweets roll in.

After the final episode of the series, Twitter was alight with opinions, especially about who should sit on the Iron Throne.

Years of speculation led up to this moment. The obvious choices for the Iron Throne were, of course, Dany and her nephew/boyfriend Jon Snow. But Game of Thrones was one again full of surprises.

Unfortunately, there was ultimately no actual throne to sit on after Dany's dragon, Drogon, destroyed the throne in a fiery blaze - but Bran Stark was eventually chosen to sit upon the metaphorical throne.

Twitter was suitably upset with Bran's place as leader.

While people were excited that the episode ended with Sansa Stark sitting on a throne as Queen of the North, others wished her throne had a little more significance.

Sansa was applauded for telling her uncle to sit down during their important King's Landing meeting, proving yet again how powerful she has become.

Bran never expressed any interest in ruling while Sansa was always interested in wearing a crown.

Even celebrities wanted Sansa on the Iron Throne.

Cersei might have been evil but she was the best and Sansa did learn from her, especially when it comes to wine chugging.

Even Ned Stark thought she was the rightful heir to the Iron Throne.

Of course, there could always be a spin-off starring Sansa. Prepare for The Bachelorette: Winterfell accordingly.
