Game of Thrones season 8 finale: Sophie Turner teases 'unpredictable' ending

While Game of Thrones showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss may be keeping tight-lipped about the upcoming eighth season, the show's actors are happier to offer up clues about the final episodes.

Sophie Turner - who plays Sansa Stark on the show - has already teased "more death than all the years before", and now the actor has spoken about the "unpredictable" series finale.

“For me – without giving anything away, I guess – I was satisfied with how unpredictable the show's ending really is,” she told Digital Spy.

“People have come up with so many fan theories about how it's going to end, and who will end up where, and who will end up with who. It really is so unpredictable the way that it ends up. I'm very satisfied with that, and I think that the fans will be satisfied with that, too. Well, we hope. We'll see!”

Turner also teased that the showrunners have "upped the ante" with the final episodes, adding: "They've got nice, big battle scenes, that's for sure."

The eighth season of Game of Thrones does not have a release date, although Turner has previously teased that the show will not return until 2019.
