Game of Thrones season 8 episode runtimes revealed by HBO

With the final season of Game of Thrones fast approaching, more and more details regarding the show have emerged.

The latest update comes thanks to HBO changing their official TV schedule and revealing the runtime for each of the six remaining episodes. They have since confirmed the official runtimes.

While the showrunners and network bosses previously teased episodes would last an hour and a half, none of the last few will last quite that long.

However, the upcoming season will hold the longest episode of Game of Thrones to date: the third episode will last an hour and 22 minutes.

That beats the previous record holder, the final episode of season seven, “The Dragon and the Wolf”, which lasted an hour and 20 minutes (the same length as the upcoming final ever episode).

Here are all six runtimes.

Episode one: 54 mins

Episode two: 58 mins

Episode three: 1 hr 22 mins

Episode four: 1 hr 18 mins

Episode five 1 hr 20 mins

Episode six: 1 hr 20 mins
