Game of Thrones nudity: study backs Emilia Clarke's call to #FreeTheP

Emilia Clarke calls for more male nudity in Game of Thrones – video

With Game of Thrones back for its sixth season on Monday – is he alive? is he? – a study has revealed there have been 60 flashes of female breasts in the series to date, but only a pair of penises.

A bit of a flimsy effort on the full-frontal male front all round, in fact.

Episode one of the first series contained the most nudity, it turns out, followed by episode three of season five and the willy-waving fourth episode of season five, according to the good people of MyVoucherCodes.

The study follows Daenerys Targaryen star Emilia Clarke telling James Corden on The Late Late Show that there should be more male nudity in the show.

“I feel like there’s a little bit of inequality between the amount of nudity that happens with women – this woman in particular – and what happens with the other guys,” she said on Tuesday.

“I just think that that should be even. Free the P!”

We can only hope the sixth series sees a rebalancing of the numbers in pursuit of gender equality, although there’s probably more hope of Jon Snow escaping with just a flesh wound.
