Game of Thrones memes: The funniest tweets to get you ready for the finale

Game of Thrones is coming to its exciting conclusion tonight, after fans devoted years (literally, the show premiered on April 17, 2011) to watching what happened to their favorite characters every single Sunday. But this season hasn't exactly been a fan favorite - and fans are voicing their concerns on Twitter and upping their meme games to do so.

Fans are angry enough to petition for a redo of this season with better writers now that George R.R. Martin is no longer contributing.

They were especially upset about how dark the episodes were this season - we're looking at you, "The Long Night."

Folks aren't loving the writing this season.

Where's George R.R. Martin when you need him?

A few Twitter users are just hoping that somehow in the final episode their favorite characters will get what they deserve.

Talented GoT stans are using their Photoshop skills to give Twitter the plot they deserve.

People already miss Cersei.

Perhaps HBO should hire the best Photoshop pros to help out this season?

Most viewers are just hoping that the couple they ship will end up together.

It's unclear if certain characters from the past will return tonight.

And it's also unclear who exactly Dany will be ruling over after her murderous rampage.

The main question, of course, is who will ultimately sit on the Iron Throne.

Ghost truly should be the winner.

Super fans are already voicing their disappointment with tonight's episode - but hopefully, that's a GoT prophecy that doesn't come to fruition.
