Game of Thrones might be a fantasy drama that leaves some fans wondering if dragons and ice zombies could ever be real - but the sight of a very real world product has left many viewers enraged for all the wrong reasons.
On Sunday night, dramatic scenes were played out on the HBO/Sky Atlantic drama as the aftermath of the war with the Night King emerged - with new allegiances and dangerous tensions mounting.
But it was the sight of a misplaced Starbucks coffee cup that really got eagle eyed viewers’ attention as a tall sized cup appeared to be sitting on a table in front of Emilia Clarke’s Daenerys Targaryen.
Many took to Twitter to express shock, anger - but also some curiosity as fans speculated what kind of order Emilia would have placed at the high street coffee chain.

“So this is where we're at now! A Starbucks cup!” one viewer wrote on Twitter, sharing a snap of the offending scene.
The initial response was one of disbelief, with many wondering if the image had been doctored, but many other fans were quick to say they rewatched the episode to check if the cup really was there - with many expressing shock that the crew of the show didn’t notice the error.
“Way to fail everyone on prod and post-prod,” one unimpressed fan blasted on Twitter - however many others poked fun at the mistake.

“I missed the story arc where dany discovers pumpkin spice lattes,” one viewer joked.
“Wow. Product placement negotiations are getting fierce!” laughed another.
Others laughed that the Starbucks barista would have a challenge on their hands getting the character’s full name on the cup - Daenerys Stormborn of House Targaryen, the First of Her Name, Queen of the Andals and the First Men, Protector of the Seven Kingdoms, the Mother of Dragons, the Khaleesi of the Great Grass Sea, the Unburnt, the Breaker of Chains.

While some feared for whoever was found responsible for the error.
“OMG. Someone else's head is going to roll for that mistake,” one viewer tweeted.
It's not the only error to appear on Game of Thrones - as recently a scene resurfaced from the very first series showing a man dressed in 21st century clothes.
