Game of Thrones: Fans slam finale over Bran ending

It's been a long time coming but it's finally happened.

Game of Thrones is finally over - after eight long years and countless gory deaths, the hotly-anticipated finale sadly left fans worldwide with a bitter taste in their mouths.

GoT devotees spent the entire week leading up to the final ever episode speculating wildly about who would finally triumph in the quest for the Iron Throne and dominance of the Seven Kingdoms.

However, as the much-anticipated finale finally aired across the world simultaneously, viewers were left outraged to see Bran Stark end up on the coveted throne and Queen Daenerys killed off.

Yep, that definitely happened and while some fans liked the finality, many were seething over the conclusion for the Iron Throne saga.

Other viewers complained of being “let down” by the show’s creators, with some saying their passion fizzled out and they were left feeling “indifferent”.

Actor Patrick Arnez chimed in, claiming he wanted to “burn this season to the goddamn ground”, while others screamed: “It doesn’t even make sense!”

The confusing emotional rollercoaster was labelled by many irate fans as an “utter letdown”, with many demanding to know where they could sign a petition for a do-over of the entire last season.
