Game of Thrones episode 4 is 'twisted and uncomfortable' according to Jon Snow actor Kit Harrington

Even people out there who've never watched an episode of Game of Thrones in their life can't fail to have been swept up in the craziness that stemmed from episode 3 of the hit show's final season.

Social media was flooded with tweets, Facebook statuses, GIFs and memes as fans of the smash hit HBO programme got to grips with what they were seeing unfold on screen.

If you STILL haven't caught up, don't worry we won't be revealing any spoilers or plot details here, suffice to say be prepared to need a long lie down in a darkened room after you've watched it.

But with three episodes still to go, if you thought episode 3 was dramatic, you ain't seen nothing yet!

With so much still left to be unravelled, not least because of Jon Snow, the actor that plays arguably Game of Thrones most famous character has dropped a few teasers for episode 4.

He told Entertainment Weekly: “One of my favorite episodes is four because the characters have seemingly got what they needed. The world is safe now.

"They’re celebrating and saying goodbye to lost friends. But as an audience you’re going, ‘This is only episode 4, something’s going to happen.’

"And that’s the cool thing because I think the characters are aware of this as well. There’s something twisted and uncomfortable about it. It’s so Shakespearian.”

The action in episode 4 is set to move to Kings Landing, as those characters who were lucky to survive the trauma of the Night King battle prepare to go head to head with Cersei Lannister, Euron Greyjoy and The Golden Company.

How to watch episode 4
