Game of Talents viewers 'traumatised' as woman performs with tarantulas on her face

It's a gameshow that has contestants and viewers guessing and arachnophobe fans were 'traumatised' when one of the acts on Game of Talents placed tarantulas on her face.

Hollywood's Diana Terranova performed to Marilyn Monroe's Diamonds Are A Girl's Best Friend with her eight-legged friends sharing the limelight with her.

At first the contestants and viewers thought she might be a singing impressionist on the ITV show, which challenges people to guess the performers' hidden talents from a list of options.

But as Diana got further into the routine she revealed she had company on the stage.

Viewers took to Twitter to air their shock as she involved her spiders in the ultra-glam routine.

"Came in the living room to see a woman with spiders on her face.. traumatised," tweeted one.

"I wouldn't deal with that spider on my face," said another.

"This woman with a bare tarantula on her face though. I can’t go to sleep if there’s a spider in my room!" exclaimed another viewer.

After her appearance Diana tweeted: "That’s me, Diana Terranova, the spider wrangler on @GameOfTalents.

"The tarantula had the cutest dance moves didn’t they??!!! #GameOfTalents #GameOfTalentsUK."

Diana is an environmentalist who works with insects and spiders in TV and film.

Sharing a photo of herself with one of her giant spiders she warns on her Instagram: "Do not try this at home I’m a professional spider wrangler."

And she tells fans: "Hi I’m Diana Terranova live animal handler in Hollywood.

"When a director wants a spider, scorpion or tarantula on an actor or music artist face, they call me. We test all the ideas on my face. PS- yes ALL the spiders live w ME at my house."

Posing with a Gooty Sapphire Ornamental Tarantula she explains that the eye-catching spider has 'potent venom.'
