Whether you're a home baker or just looking to cover up some leftovers, we all know the frustration of trying to unwrap a stubborn roll of cling film.
You try to peel back a bit of the plastic only for it to become a tangled mess when you tear it in the wrong way - a sticky kitchen nightmare.
But did you know that might be because you're storing it wrong? If you keep it in a cupboard, on the side, or in a drawer then you most certainly are.
That's because you should be keeping your roll of cling film in the freezer - and doing so is a total kitchen game-changer as it makes cling film much easier to handle.

It sounds odd but there's actually a scientific reason for it - the cold temperature changes the molecular structure of the plastic, which removes the static and 'stickiness'.
However it works, it'll help you wrap whatever you need without any trouble.
It won't affect the food you're wrapping because the plastic will warm up again and then revert back to its normal clingy self.
Explaining the trick, Carolyn Forte, of the Good Housekeeping Institute, said: "The plastic wrap was a lot easier to unroll and use.

"It doesn't stick to itself when it's cold but still works to cover up a dish.
"As it warms up, it goes back to being sticky but it's definitely easier to handle when cold."
