Game-by-game predictions for Titans 2019 season

In 2018, the Tennessee Titans finished the regular season with an overall record of 9-7 for the third consecutive year.

In the upcoming season, they’ll look to take the leap to go from “good to great.”

The Titans face an instant challenge with three of their first four games on the road. One of these will be against a quickly rising Cleveland Browns team that features quarterback Baker Mayfield and the dynamic receiver duo of Odell Beckham Jr. and Jarvis Landry.

Tennessee also faces a trying six-game stretch at the end of the year, which includes four contests against division opponents.

Here’s our projection for how the season will shake out:

Sept. 8: at Browns, Loss

Sept. 15: vs. Colts, Loss

Sept. 19: at Jaguars, Win

Sept. 29: at Falcons, Win

Oct. 6: vs. Bills, Win

Oct. 13: at Broncos, Win

Oct. 20: vs. Chargers, Win

Oct. 27: vs. Buccaneers, Win

Nov. 3: at Panthers, Win

Nov. 10: vs. Chiefs, Loss

Nov. 24: vs. Jaguars, Win

Dec. 1: at Colts, Win

Dec. 8: at Raiders, Loss

Dec. 15: vs. Texans, Loss

Dec. 22: vs. Saints, Win

Dec. 29: at Texans, Win

If the Titans’ record falls in line with this projection, the team will finish the regular season with an overall record of 11-5, and head into the playoffs on a hot streak.

It will be interesting to see if the Titans can maintain consistency as they seek redemption in 2019.
