Galway Races tips, TV channel information, race card, runners, start time and more for day 2 at Ballybrit

The Galway Races continue today after an exciting start to the meeting on Monday.

This year's festival is obviously a lot different to any of the ones that came before it, with the races being run behind closed doors due to Covid-19.

But there were many similarities to previous  years on Monday as the likes of Dermot Weld and Willie Mullins recording wins, with the Carlow trainer's brother Tony winning the feature race with Princess Zoe.

Here's everything you need to know about day two:

What time is the first race?

The first of the contests gets is scheduled to start at 4.45pm.

What's the big race?

The feature race on day two is the COLM QUINN BMW Mile Handicap, which takes place at 6.45pm.

It looks a wide open contest with Jessica Harrington's Tauran Shaman the favourite at the time of writing at odds of 5/1.

Last year's winner Saltonstall takes his chance again, while champion trainer Aidan O'Brien is represented by San Pedro.

What channel are the races on?

RTE Two will show live action from 5.30pm to 7.30pm, while Racing TV will show all the races from Galway this week live.
