Cub Scout packs from Castle Douglas, Dalbeattie, Glenkens, Minnigaff and Sandhead in Galloway District enjoyed a fun filled and challenging day at Barcaple Christian Outdoor Centre near Ringford.
The youngsters tried out new skills under the watchful eye of the centre’s instructors who were described as encouraging, patient and kind.
The activities included the challenge course, archery, zip wire, tree climb and the ropes course.
