GALLERY: NatWest summer drinks reception at the Rutland and Derby in Leicester

The commercial banking team at Leicester’s NatWest branch hosted a summer drinks reception at the Rutland and Derby pub.

Members of the city’s professional services community joined them for a drink and a chat about how local businesses are faring.

The quarterly drinks reception was hosted by Anne-Marie Hunt who heads up NatWest’s Leicestershire commercial operation, based in Granby Street in the city centre.

She said: “It’s a very informal event, and we invite lots of the city’s solicitors, accountants and other professionals.”

It marked the end of a busy first half of the year for the bank.

Summing up the business scene as Brexit looms, she said: “Right now I would say many customers are still facing challenges, and we are trying to work with them and spending a lot of our time supporting them.”
