Ever since Galaxy Truffles were removed from Celebrations boxes and replaced by mini Twix bars back in 2011, the nation has been tirelessly petitioning to bring the chocolate treat back.
While Twix bars are, at best, average, the Galaxy Truffle can only be described as a luxury treat, and the thought process behind discontinuing it is quite frankly beyond comprehension.
Thankfully, though, the tough Galaxy Truffle-less period is now over, as Mars has brought the chocolate back from the dead, and it's being sold in massive boxes in Tesco stores across the UK. HURRAH.

Tesco is currently advertising 206g boxes of the truffles for £5 on its website and in stores . It is also believed that larger boxes of the individually-wrapped treat will be available later this year as a Christmas treat, though an exact release date and price is yet to be confirmed.
Mars Wrigley has said that the chocolate is being launched as part of an increased demand for “premium chocolates which are special enough to give."
Talking Retail reports that the launch will be supported by a £1m digital campaign this November.
Galaxy Truffles aren't the only exciting confectionary product to have hit supermarket shelves this month.

Earlier this week it was revealed that Tesco is stocking the brand-new cookie dough variant of Nestlé Munchies – alongside wholesaler Booker and convenience store One Stop.
Each 101g pouch of the delicious treat currently costs £1.50 on Tesco’s website and in stores (accurate at time of writing).
