Galashiels has beaten Glasgow to be named the unhealthiest place in Scotland, according to a new study.
The Scottish Borders town has been revealed as the fast food capital of Scotland and the home of Greggs the bakery.
A study by Great Bean Bags, which is part of a wider campaign to find out how lazy the UK is, also discovered that Aberdeen, Perth and Inverness were the healthiest locations.
By using location data from the six leading high street fast food chains, the research has revealed the number of restaurant venues, per capita, for all six brands (KFC, Greggs , McDonald's, Domino's Pizza, Burger King and Pizza Hut ) across the UK to reveal a list.

Galashiels finished in second place in the entire UK, while Glasgow ended up in fourth with Edinburgh in eighth.
There are five Greggs in Galashiels which means there is one for every 3,665 people.
Among the 18,324 people who live in the town there is one fast food restaurant for every 2,291 of them.
In Glasgow, the number of Greggs is far higher at 86 while there are 30 Domino's Pizza stores and 34 McDonald's restaurants.
At the other end of the table Aberdeen only has nine Greggs shops, eight Domino's and seven McDonald's.
The study was conducted following the news that McDonald’s plans to open a restaurant in Rutland, meaning it will now have a site in every UK county, and Greggs having just launched its 2,000th store.
Patrick Tonks, creative director at Great Bean Bags , said: "It’s crazy to see just how many of these leading high street eateries there are across the country. Following the news from McDonald’s , we wanted to see which places in the UK have the most restaurants per capita.
"Birmingham is home to quite a lot of the restaurants, which is handy if you’re on the lookout for a Greggs , with 87 of them in total in the city.
"But whilst this research is a bit of fun, it still shows a massive demand for quick food, especially given McDonald’s and its recent plans.
"It seems that the market is continuing to grow and that demand is still there - and we are firm believers in exercising some balance in life."
