Gal Gadot says ‘Justice League’ director Joss Whedon threatened to make her career ‘miserable’

After Ray Fisher hinted at problems between “Justice League” director Joss Whedon, star Gal Gadot and “Wonder Woman” director Patty Jenkins, the actress confirmed clashes during movie reshoots.

“He kind of threatened my career and said if I did something, he would make my career miserable,” Gadot told Israeli outlet N12 Saturday, expounding on what she previously classified as “issues.”

“I just took care of it instead.”

Fisher broke the seal on allegations of verbal abuse by Whedon, accusing him in July 2020 of “gross, abusive, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable” behavior.

In April, sources told the Hollywood Reporter that Gadot had “issues about her character being more aggressive than her character in ‘Wonder Woman.’”

Fisher’s “Justice League” co-star Jason Momoa backed the actor and “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” stars Charisma Carpenter, Amber Benson and Michelle Trachtenberg came forward with their own allegations of misconduct.

“Joss Whedon abused his power on numerous occasions while working together on the sets of ‘Buffy the Vampire Slayer’ and ‘Angel,’” Carpenter wrote on social media in February. “The disturbing incidents triggered a chronic physical condition from which I still suffer. It is with a beating, heavy heart that I say I coped in isolation and, at times, destructively.”

Trachtenberg also claimed there was a rule on the “Buffy” set banning Whedon from being in a room alone with her.

WarnerMedia said in December that “remedial action” would be taken following its investigation into production on “Justice League,” but declined to go into any specifics.
