Steven Gerrard will always be a Liverpool legend no matter what happens in his managerial career and this afternoon he reminded everyone as to why he gained such a lofty status.
The former Reds captain may now be the manager of Rangers - but that didn't stop him mixing it with his players on the field during pre-season training.
Gerrard has remained in great shape following his playing career and could no doubt probably do a decent job in the Football League somewhere.
But the managerial bug has caught him nice and early, with Rangers benefiting as a result.
And he took some time on from dishing out orders this afternoon to lead by example and score a great goal in practice, which Rangers shared via their official Twitter account.
It's a cracking strike and something Liverpool fans will remember well.
