Gabriel Magalhaes update, €80 million Rafa Silva linked and other Everton transfer rumours rated

No clubs are expected to be spending lavishly in the summer transfer market, with uncertainty over finances from the coronavirus paramount in the thinking of every team at this moment in time.

Nevertheless, there are plenty of transfer rumours that are doing the rounds involving Everton at the moment, with lots of players being linked with big-money moves.

These are your Everton transfer rumours rated on Thursday, May 21.

Who?

Gabriel Magalhaes, the Lille defender and Brazilian starlet.

What?

Football Insider claim that Everton have now submitted a new bid of around £20 million for the Ligue 1 star, with personal terms already agreed.

They say that only agreeing a fee for the player is stopping the deal from being completed. Lille reportedly value their man at £30 million, a figure the Blues have so far been unwilling to match.

Who?

Portugal's Rafa Silva.

What?

According to Correio da Manhã, Everton are interested in the Benfica attacking midfielder, along with Arsenal.

However, the 27-year-old, who has scored 35 times in 125 appearances for his current club, is valued at around €80 million.

With coronavirus uncertainty, and other targets to consider too, that would seem like a very steep fee to match.

Who?

Kristoffer Ajer of Celtic.

What?

The 22-year-old is reportedly someone who Everton would like to sign, however, Brendan Rodgers' Leicester are leading the chase.

According to 90Min, Rodgers would like to team up once more with the defender, who he worked with at the Scottish champions.

Manchester City, Wolves, AC Milan, PSG and Borussia Dortmund are also believed to be in the race, so Everton will have plenty of competition.
