March 04--Actors Gabriel Macht and Jacinda Barrett sold their house in Los Feliz within a month of listing for $2.1 million. That's 5% above their $1.998 million asking price -- nicely covering the real estate agent commissions.
The property was purchased in 2002 for $849,000 and had been leased out in recent years for between $6,600 and $6,800 a month.
The 1931 Spanish-style house had been renovated to lighten and brighten the interiors while retaining such period details as the vaulted beamed ceilings and interior arches.
The expansive living room has high ceilings, a fireplace and a large picture window with downtown skyline views. The separate media room, one of three bedrooms in the 2,707-square-foot house, has a Moroccan-style bath for a total of three bathrooms.
A brick patio with a fireplace and two decks extend the living space outdoors. Mature landscaping, an outdoor shower and lawn complete the grounds.
Macht, 43, has starred since 2011 on the USA Network series "Suits," which will return for a fifth season. He has been in such films as "Love Other Drugs" (2010), "Whiteout" (2009) and "The Spirit" (2008).
Barrett, 42, was also on "Suits" in 2012-13. She'll be in the 2015 series "Bloodline" and was in "The Following" (2014) and "Zero Hour" (2013).
