The transfer window has been open for over a week, and already sides are starting to make their first moves to improve their squads.
Everton fans know that they squad needs a lot of work done to it over the coming days, weeks and months - and are understandably anxious for business to start.
A number of players have already left Goodison Park with Morgan Schneiderlin, Fraser Hornby and Kieran Dowell all finding new clubs.
In terms of incomings, Niels Nkounkou is the only arrival of the summer as he links up with the under-23 squad.
So, which players should Everton be targeting over this transfer window?
We put the question to supporters on social media, asking if they could bring only one (realistic) player to Goodison over the next few weeks, who it would be.
As ever, the responses we received were wide-ranging and extremely interesting!
Here is just a brief selection of some of the more popular answers we received.
Gabriel
The man used to start the conversation has been in the news a lot over the last few days.
Everton have long been linked with a potential swoop for Gabriel and, before the pandemic, did make progress in negotiations with Lille over the defender.
But according to recent reports the Brazilian has also attracted the interest of Manchester United, Arsenal and Napoli.

Competition is set to be fierce for the centre-back, but a number of supporters believe he should be a top priority for the club.
The Blues were bitten by their lack of senior options in central defence towards the end of last season thanks to injuries to both Yerry Mina and Mason Holgate, so it's clearly a position that must be strengthened.
Will the addition of the 22-year-old fill that hole? We'll have to wait and see.
Allan
The most popular responses from supporters all, rather unsurprisingly, concerned the central midfield role.
Everton suffered a lot of issues with that position throughout the campaign, but in particular the final weeks of the campaign exposed it as a gaping flaw.
And many fans who answered our question believe that Allan is the right man to solve that issue.
The Brazilian is, of course, someone who Ancelotti will know well from his time at Napoli - and there have already been a lot of rumours regarding a potential swoop because of this fact.
Will the 29-year-old make the move over to Goodison? A fair amount of supporters would like to see it happen, it seems.
Abdoulaye Doucoure
Sticking with the midfield, this is another suggestion that will be familiar to Everton supporters.
Back when Marco Silva was in charge in particular, links with Watford star Abdoulaye Doucoure were pretty common as even then the Blues needed midfield reinforcements.
Now, with the Hornets having been relegated to the Championship, you would suspect the 27-year-old will be searching for new pastures this summer.
Everton's situation in that area in the pitch was unquestionably exposed during the final matches of last term in particular, with a someone who can fill the more defensive side of a 4-4-2 still required.
A lot of supporters who responded believe Doucoure would fit the bill in that sense.
Ibrahim Sangare
Clearly Everton supporters highlighted the position they believed needed to be strengthened more than any other.
If not Doucoure or Allan, then who should it be?
Ibrahim Sangare was another common name mentioned by fans and, again, he'll be pretty familiar to those who keep track of Blues transfer rumours.
The Toulouse midfielder is another that has reportedly caught the eye of a number of Europe's top clubs, with other Premier League interest from Arsenal credited by some.
At 22, he would certainly fit into the right age profile that Marcel Brands has sought out in the recent past.
Leon Bailey
Away from the central midfielders for a minute, a few supporters wanted to see a bit more flair added to the side.
Everton relied heavily on both Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Richarlison for goals last term and there is an understanding that the addition of a winger might be needed to both create chances and put the ball in the back of the net.
And so, we come to Leon Bailey.
Some reports over the last few days have claimed that both Spurs and Everton are interested in the Jamaica international as a potential exit from Bayer Leverkusen has again been touted.
His addition would certainly be an interesting one...
Other suggestions
As ever, there were far to many different suggestions to analyse each individually.
But, here is a collection of other answers from supporters when asked which one realistic signing they would like to see Everton make this summer.
