Jesus offered City transfer warning

In-demand Manchester City striker Gabriel Jesus has been urged to reject Arsenal and sign for their London rivals Chelsea instead amid question marks over what Mikel Arteta can do for him.

Speculation over the Brazilian and his Etihad Stadium future remains at fever pitch, with Erling Haaland and Julian Alvarez set to be added to the City squad in time for next season. Arsenal and Chelsea have both been mooted as potential destinations for Jesus this summer.

The 25-year-old scored 12 goals and provided 13 assists in 41 outings last season. However, with only 12 months to run on his City contract, the Premier League champions risk losing him on a free next summer.

Grealish agrees with Southgate claim

Jack Grealish agrees with Gareth Southgate that he needs to improve his positional responsibilities.

Southgate praised the 26-year-old after his performance on the flank in the 1-1 Nations League draw with Germany and, as a result of that cameo, he was handed a start for the follow-up draw with Italy.

Speaking ahead of that match, England manager Southgate identified one key area that Grealish can improve upon when representing his country and the City playmaker - who cost £100million from Aston Villa last summer - admits he agrees with that assessment.
