Gabriel decision, Rafinha enquiry and other Everton transfer rumours rated

Gabriel

Who?

Lille defender.

Where?

Alan Myers has said there are currently three clubs pushing hard to complete the signing of Gabriel with Everton right in the mix.

Myers has also reported that a decision on the player's future is likely to come next week.

What?

It looks like the Blues are going to face a big, old battle if they are to add the Ligue 1 star to their defensive line for next season.

Let's hope this transfer saga has a positive outcome for Carlo Ancelotti and co.

Rafinha

Who?

Barcelona midfielder, spent the last season on loan at Celta Vigo.

Where?

Sport, cited by the Mail, suggest Everton have made an enquiry regarding the £14.5m rated midfielder.

What?

The Blues certainly have transfer history with Barcelona having negotiated deals for Andre Gomes, Lucas Digne and Yerry Mina in recent seasons.

However, it looks as though Ancelotti will face serious competition for the 27-year-old if he is interested with the player being linked with a host of clubs in Italy and one in China.

Willian

Who?

Chelsea winger.

Where?

ESPN have suggested the Blues were keen on acquiring the Brazilian attacker alongside Arsenal.

What?

It has been rumoured Willian is now on the cusp of a move to London rivals Arsenal.

I myself thought he may opt for a challenge further afield but this would enable him to stay in the city he has called home for the past seven years.

If Everton did put their name in the hat then fair play to Ancelotti, as the 31-year-old winger will be an asset for whomever he elects to join.

Everton Soares

Who?

Gremio ace.

Where?

UOL, cited by SportWitness, have reported Everton have made an offer for Everton.

They also suggest Benfica, who are claimed to be interested in acquiring the Gremio man, lead the race for the Brazilian.

What?

The 24-year-old has long been linked with a move to Goodison Park.

Reports are suggesting that Benfica are in the driving seat but if the Blues have 'made a bid' then I guess we will have to keep our eyes on this one.
