Gabe Brown drops 59 points in Moneyball Pro-AM game

Gabe Brown is an interesting prospect. A 4-star prospect out of Belleville, Michigan, Brown had a hard time finding the floor in his freshman season, being surpassed in minutes by fellow freshman Aaron Henry despite being the higher-ranked prospect heading into the season. A lot of this, I believe, was due to defense, but if his offensive game lives up to the potential he has, Izzo might have no choice but to play the sophomore. He showed today at the Moneyball Pro-AM that he might have taken a leap in that development, dropping 59 points for the crowds in attendance.

Brown only averaged 8.4 minutes-per-game last season and faces an uphill battle to find minutes with the introduction of Malik Hall and Rocket Watts to the mix. Based on the highlights and reactions from Moneyball (below), he is taking this season very seriously and I’m excited to see where that takes him:
