Muscular Dystrophy UK are taking their popular annual sports quiz into a fully virtual format this evening (28 April), with leading broadcaster Gabby Logan acting as host.
The quiz, now in its tenth year, is usually held in the Long Room at Lord’s and is a key fundraiser for the charity, which like many others has been hit by a lack of income during the coronavirus pandemic, with major events such as the London Marathon postponed.
With Logan acting as chair, comedian, author and BBC Test Match Special scorer Andy Zaltzman will take on the role of MC.
The quiz will feature five rounds with topics ranging from sports history to the Olympics. Each will be run by a different celebrity sports star, with the line-up including former England bowler Ryan Sidebottom and ex-British athlete John Regis.
The quiz is open to all and free to join, though the charity recommends a £5 donation.
