The revised 2020 GAA schedule has been announced with big changes to inter-county and club competitions.
Here's a rundown of the key points from the GAA's revised schedule.
- Inter-county season to resume with outstanding Allianz League fixtures on October 17.
- No divisional football finals - top team in each division will be declared champions.
- Knockout stages of Division 1 Allianz Hurling League will not be played. Limerick and Clare declared Division 1A/1B champions and their Munster quarter-final will double up as the League final.
- Tier two Tailteann Cup postponed until 2021.
- No All-Ireland JFC in 2020.
- All-Ireland under-20 Football Championship to be completed. Hurling equivalent will be played on a knockout basis alongside senior Championship, Leinster champions v Munster champions in final.
- All-Ireland minor Championships straight knockout.
- 2020/21 provincial and All-Ireland Club Championships will not be played.

All-Ireland SFC
- Starting October 31, straight knockout format from provincial stages right through, meaning no qualifiers or quarter-finals for the first time since 2000.
- New York will not take part. London will participate pending travel restrictions.
- No replays - games that are level after extra-time will be decided on penalties.
- Leinster final to be staged at Croke Park on Bloody Sunday Centenary.
- All-Ireland semi-finals: Connacht champions v Munster champions, Leinster champions v Ulster champions.
- All-Ireland final on Saturday, December 19.

All-Ireland SHC
- Starting on October 24, ten counties split evenly between Leinster and Munster SHCs, which will be knockout.
- Back door for those beaten in the province with six teams reduced to two come the All-Ireland quarter-final stage, when they will pair off with beaten provincial finalists.
- Provincial winners go to All-Ireland semi-final stage.
- No replays - games that are level after extra-time will be decided on penalties.
- Joe McDonagh Cup will be run on a round robin basis as usual though finalists will no longer have a spot in the All-Ireland SHC. Winner will be promoted to top tier in 2021.
- Joe McDonagh Cup final will form a double header with All-Ireland final on Sunday, December 13.
Christy Ring Cup quarter-final draw:
Down v London, Offaly v Kildare, Roscommon v Wicklow, Derry Sligo.
Semi-final draws to be made after quarter-finals.
Nicky Rackard Cup quarter-final draw:
Armagh v Leitrim, Warwickshire v Tyrone, Donegal v Longford, Monaghan v Mayo.
