It was a great day for Kilkenny fans as both the senior and minor teams booked a spot in the All-Ireland final.
The Cats' minors did the business against Limerick before Brian Cody's side repeated the trick to dethrone the champions.
They will return to Croke Park in three weeks' time to play the winners of Tipperary-Wexford who face off tomorrow.
There was also football action with Mayo minors running out narrow winners of a hugely exciting clash with Dublin before Galway had too much for Kildare.
And Dublin were the victors of their U20 semi-final with Galway.
