GAA results today as Galway, Mayo and Tyrone pick up victories in Division 1

There was drama across the country as a host of Allianz League clashes were played out this afternoon, while Storm Ciara wreaked havoc on the fixtures.

Three games were postponed around the country, while Tyrone's clash with Kerry was forced to change venues after Healy Park in Omagh was deemed unplayable.

And the change of venue suited the Red Hands, as they used a strong second-half breeze to come from behind and beat the Kingdom.

Donegal and Michael Murphy thought they had leveled it towards the end at Letterkenny against Galway, but the point was disallowed and the Tribesmen held on for a one-point win.

And there was late drama as Kevin McLoughlin kicked 1-2 as Mayo's only second-half scorer in a smash-and-grab victory over Meath in the dying minutes.

Elsewhere, there were seven other games played in all three other divisions:
