GAA on TV today as TG4 show live football and deferred hurling action

GAA fans are rejoicing as club championships get underway up and down the country.

Live GAA action returned to our screens for the first time in over four months last weekend and there's more coming up this week.

TG4 will show two matches on Sunday, with one live and the other being deferred coverage.

First up is the live Cork Senior Football Championship clash between Castlehaven and Carbery Rangers, which will be shown live from 2.15pm. Throw-in is at 2.30.

The match will be presented by Micheál Ó Domhnaill with commentary from Brian Tyers.

Following that clash, TG4 will show full deferred coverage of Sarsfields vs Portumna from the Galway Senior Hurling Championship at 4.15pm.

There'll be classic GAA Gold action on after that as the station looks back on the year of 1986, including Jimmy Barry-Murphy's last game for Cork and the first time Tyrone ever reached an All-Ireland Football final.
