GAA games on TV today as Clare take on Meath and Laois face Dublin

Clare and Meath face off for a place in the Super 8s of the All-Ireland Senior Football Championship this afternoon.

The bookies make the Royals the favourites but they will have to pick themselves up after a humbling defeat to Dublin in the Leinster final.

Their clash will be shown live on RTE 1 with coverage beginning at 1.40pm.

Attention turns towards hurling where Westmeath will look to cause an upset against Cork at TEG Cusack Park.

Then Laois will be the underdogs against a Dublin side growing in confidence.

Unfortunately, neither of the hurling preliminary quarter-finals will be shown live on television. But you can follow all the action on the Irish Mirror Sport's live blog.
