GAA club results from Sunday's football and hurling matches

There were six county football titles on the line today, including two final replays in Kildare and Clare.

It was a momentous day for Ratoath who won their first Meath senior title after a rapid rise through the ranks. The first-time finalists never looked like being denied in an impressive win over Summerhill at Pairc Tailteann.

There was also three hurling finals taking place and more familiar winners in the shape of Ballyhale Shamrock as the reigning All-Ireland champions saw off James Stephens to take a 17th Kilkenny senior hurling championship title at Nowlan Park.
