Futuristic mattress launched that keeps you cool at night

A good night's sleep in sweltering heat can be tricky.

As temperatures rise across the UK a new nighttime product says it can help keep you cool without the need for noisy fans.

Eve Sleep have launched a 'premium hybrid mattress' that uses a futuristic material to actually cool sleepers down on unbearably hot nights.

The mattress uses graphite to actively remove heat when your body gets too hot and this, says Eve, will help you to cool off when the mercury rises.

The technology is designed to keep body temperatures down without using electronic devices such as fans or air conditioning to reduce heat in the room.

The new mattress technology comes at a price at £849 for a UK double.

It is designed using five layers of foam along with the support of 1500 pocket springs. These adapt to your body’s wriggles throughout the night, so your body wakes without aches.

Shoppers can also get their hands on their new breathable 200 thread count cotton sheets from the bed specialist to match the new mattress. The sheets are also an expensive addition though, and come in at a costly £98 for a UK double.
