Today ITV announced that they are axing one of their flagship daytime shows The Jeremy Kyle Show following the death guest Steve Dymond.
In a statement released today, CEO of ITV , Carolyn McCall said it was "the right time for the show to end".
She said: "Given the gravity of the recent events we have decided to end production of The Jeremy Kyle Show.
"The Jeremy Kyle Show has had a loyal audience and has been made by a dedicated production team for 14 years, but now is the right time for the show to end.

"Everyone at ITV's thoughts and sympathies are with the family and friend of Steve Dymond."
What about Jeremy Kyle's other projects?
As well as his now-cancelled talk show, Jeremy Kyle has been in numerous programmes with ITV.
These include including Military Driving School, Jeremy Kyle's Emergency Room and the game show High Stakes.
But there is also his popular evening show The Kyle Files where he explores a number of social issues.
Jeremy Kyle has acted as a guest presenter on ITV's Good Morning Britain since 2016.

The Liverpool ECHO asked ITV about the future of The Kyle Files and his hosting duties on GMB, but has not responded at the time of publication.
But Press Association reported that ITV has said it will continue to work with Kyle on other projects, indicating that his other shows may continue.
There is currently only one episode of The Kyle Files on the ITV hub, but all The Jeremy Kyle Show episodes, web page and Twitter account have been deleted.
