The panel

Kira Cochrane has been the Guardian's women's editor since 2006. She has also worked at the Sunday Times, written two novels – The Naked Season and Escape Routes for Beginners – and co-edited a collection of women's journalism called Cupcakes and Kalashnikovs.

Jemima Kiss joined guardian.co.uk's media desk in 2006 as digital media reporter. She has written for the digital business blog paidContent.org, the industry news site journalism.co.uk, and various other specialist web titles.

Jess McCabe edits The F-Word, an online feminist magazine and blog, as well as guest blogging at Liberal Conspiracy, Fem Soc and elsewhere.

Zohra Moosa is senior policy officer for race and gender at the Fawcett Society where she runs Seeing Double, a national campaign on the experiences and needs of ethnic minority women.

Jessica Valenti is a feminist writer and activist from New York. She founded the highly popular blog and online community Feministing.com and is the author of Full Frontal Feminism: A Young Woman's Guide to Why Feminism Matters and He's a Stud, She's a Slut…and 49 Other Double Standards Every Woman Should Know.
