The future of Irvine's Three Craw's pub is in doubt after manager Gareth Kelly announced his departure on the boozer's Facebook page.
Mr Kelly alluded to an issue with the landlord and logistics around social distancing in the large Dickson Drive watering hole.
The post read: "So it’s with a heavy heart that I have to announce I won’t be returning to the three craws.
"This decision hasn’t been taken lightly but with social distancing going to be in place for the foreseeable future operating such a large property just isn’t viable.
"I’m personally gutted as I’ve loved my time there and met people that will be friends for life but I’ve had to make this decision with my head and not my heart.
"I wish you all the best and thank you for all your custom."
