Future of Everton stadium revealed in stunning new Bramley-Moore Dock video

A new virtual time-lapse video has perfectly showcased how Everton's new stadium build at Bramley-Moore Dock will take place in the coming years.

The Blues have released a regular number of exciting updates around the project over the course of recent weeks and months in particular with some amazing transformation happening at the waterfront.

Earlier in November, for example, the club confirmed that the first above-ground work on the foundations for the new stadium was taking place - giving fans a first glimpse of concrete being laid.

Meanwhile, Everton's infill of the dock had progressed to such a stage that sand was visible above the water for the first time, with later weeks showing just how much that has spread across the site already.

Laing O'Rourke have been at Bramley-Moore Dock for a number of months now, and they have produced an incredible video of the stages the project will go through in the future.

Presenting to business leaders on Wednesday, the CGI footage demonstrates the exciting step-by-step process that will take place at the waterfront - which is already well underway.

The video gives an interesting look at what will take place after the sand has infilled the dock and been compacted down, which is expected to be completed early next year.

Foundation piling and construction can later begin on that particular area of the site, with the time lapse showing how each stage of that process will look.

The video smoothly shows all of the preparation that will be laid on the site before the shell of the stands finally rises up above everything else.

Supporters can then get a real glimpse of how the stadium will really take shape from that point on, with all four sides growing up from the dock and the roof being placed on the new ground.

As the video rotates, the impressive stepped plaza in front of the west stand can be seen as the pitch is finally laid on the site.

The end of the footage shows how the inside of the new stadium is set to look, with those stunning images already being very familiar to Evertonians at this stage.

The business leaders heard that the infill process at Bramley-Moore Dock is on track to be completed early next year, when the enabling works can be completed and work can finally begin on the above ground build of the state-of-the-art arena.

The club also confirmed that the site’s key heritage assets, including cobbles, capstans, mooring posts and railway lines have been removed, preserved and will be re-instated as part of the finished site.
