Future Golf Major Venues - Men's And Women's Upcoming Host Courses

The Majors are the highlight of the golfing year, but which venues are lined up to host them in the coming years?

Major venues are chosen and announced years in advance usually, and in most cases they tend to be some of the world's greatest courses. From Augusta National to St Andrews and Pebble Beach, Major golf is a test of the best players on the best courses.

In the men’s game, there are four Majors each year while the women's game has five.

What are the four men's Majors?

The four men's Majors are: The Masters, PGA Championship, US Open and Open Championship. In the order above, they take place in April, May, June and July.

The Masters always takes place at Augusta National Golf Club in Georgia, USA in early April to kick off Major season, while the other three Majors are played at different courses.

The Open Championship has a rota of courses in England, Scotland and Northern Ireland, with the PGA Championship and US Open heading to different courses around the US.

What are the five women's Majors?

Unlike the men's game, the women's game has five Majors. They are the Chevron Championship (formerly ANA Inspiration), the US Women's Open, the KPMG Women's PGA Championship, the Evian Championship and the AIG Women's Open.

The Chevron and Evian Championship have fixed venues while the other three rotate their host courses.
