Comedian, Saturday Night Live alumni, and notorious Internet BF Pete Davidson is expecting his first child and it’s giving BDE (that’s big daddy energy, of course).
Davidson’s girlfriend, 29 year-old model and actress Elsie Hewitt, announced the news via an Instagram post writing, “Welp now everyone knows we had sex,”.
Other images in the photo dump included an ultrasound picture, cute couple snaps and a reference to Nic Vansteenberghe’s recent “Mamacita” moment from Love Island USA.
It’s been a whirlwind romance for the pair as they were first spotted together in March of this year in Palm Beach, Florida. By May, the couple had made it official and moved in together in New York. According to PEOPLE, the couple is now “splitting their time between Davidson’s place in upstate New York and a brownstone they recently started renting in Brooklyn.”
Referencing the couple’s happy news, an exclusive source shared to PEOPLE, “They’re both very nurturing people and are very, very happy together and to be starting a family.”
“They’ve been sharing privately with loved ones, and it’s a really sweet time after everything Pete has overcome. He’s so excited. He’s always wanted to be a dad.”
A second source also told PEOPLE that 31 year-old Davidson has been “more intentional” about letting people into his life and is excited to start this next chapter with Hewitt.
“Pete and Elsie are happy and cannot wait to welcome their baby,” they said. “He’s grown up a lot, and he’s so excited about this next chapter as a dad.”
“He’s more intentional about who he lets into his life now, and with Elsie, it was never about headlines or the spotlight, and that’s exactly what he needs.”
Who is Elsie Hewitt?
Pete Davidson has notoriously been connected to a few famous women over the years (most notably ex-fiancé Ariana Grande, Phoebe Dynevor, Margaret Qualley and Kim Kardashian), but who is his new girlfriend?
Elsie Hewitt is a British-born model and actress who moved to Los Angeles when she was 10, according to her IMDB. She first began modelling as a teen, was named Playboy’s Miss June in 2017 and starred in Guess’s spring/summer campaign in 2018.
Hewitt is also an actress, having credits in Teenage Badass, Turnt, and the FX series Dave. Most recently, she nabbed a role in HBO’s Industry, portraying Suzie Huppert in season 3.
Baby-Daddy Pete Davidson isn’t Hewitt’s first famous beau. The 29 year-old was rumoured to have been dating other famous daddy, Jason Sudeikis in early 2024 after they were spotted outside a nightclub in L.A and attended the U.S. Open together.
Hewitt was also in a relationship with music producer (and soon-to-be Mr. Selena Gomez), Benny Blanco. The pair reportedly met in 2019 while filming the music video for Juice WRLD’s “Graduation,”.
